H&E Combines Maryland Branches

The company has moved to a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Dundalk. This consolidates H&E operations from Baltimore and Jessup, MD.

H&E Equipment Services Inc. has set up shop in Dundalk, MD, bringing 30 jobs to Baltimore County.

The company has moved to a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Dundalk. This consolidates H&E operations from Baltimore and Jessup, MD.

The building includes offices, shop space, 18 service bays and a 9,000-square-foot parts warehouse. The branch will serve Maryland, Delaware, and the Washington, D.C. area, specializing in heavy earthmoving equipment, cranes, aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, and general construction equipment. It carries products from Atlas Copco, Doosan, Diamond Z, Genie, Gradall, Grove, JLG, Magnum, Manitowoc, Multiquip, National Crane, Skyjack, Skytrak, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar, and others.

County officials, including Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, praised the move.

"There's easy interstate access to customers throughout the region, as well as new business opportunities as development accelerates at Sparrows Point," Kamenetz said in a news release.

Michael Criswell, H&E Baltimore branch manager, said it made operational sense to combine the two locations into one store.

“Now our new facility is more centralized to a majority of our business and more convenient to most of our customers," Criswell said in a news release.
