MAX USA Corp. has introduced the WMC80 Cordless Wire Mesh Cutter, built for applications including precast plants, commercial buildings, foundations, tilt-up construction, basements, pools and driveways.
The 6.3-pound tool cuts through two pieces of wire mesh with one hand in about 0.7 seconds, accommodating W1.4 (10GA.) up to W8 (2/0.5GA) mesh. The battery-powered cutter operates without cords or hoses, uses the same interchangeable battery as MAX’s TWINTIER rebar tying tools, and includes safety guards, an easy-change blade system and a power-save function that shuts the tool off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
When the trigger is released, the blades return to the fully open position and stop, improving control and safety.
The WMC80 is now available through MAX dealers in North America.
