The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited K&F Construction Inc., Martinsburg, W.V., with one willful and two serious violations after inspectors found employees were exposed to a 35-foot fall while working on a roof with no fall protection.
The jobsite involved the new construction of three-story townhomes in Morgantown. K& F was performing roofing work on the residential structures. The company was also cited for its failure to provide employees with training related to fall hazards.
K&F is facing $44,220 in proposed penalties.
