ArmorThane has released AquaSafe, a polyurea coating certified for direct contact with potable water under NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
The two-component, high-pressure coating is engineered for water storage tanks, treatment plants, food processing facilities and other environments requiring safe, durable surfaces. AquaSafe’s properties include high tensile strength, tear resistance and elongation, which create a seamless membrane for containment structures and flooring.
The coating is also resistant to chemicals and designed for quick return to service. Recommended uses include veterinary and healthcare flooring, food and beverage facilities, marine environments and industrial or commercial floors.
