Milwaukee Tool has expanded its metalworking lineup with four new grinder dust shrouds designed to reduce exposure to dust and debris generated during stone and concrete work.
The dust shrouds are intended to help contractors manage respirable crystalline silica in line with OSHA’s silica standard for construction, 29 CFR 1926.1153. The lineup includes a 5-inch cutting dust shroud, a 4 1/2-inch to 5-inch surface grinding dust shroud, a 6-inch tuckpointing dust shroud and a 7-inch/9-inch surface grinding dust shroud.
The 5-inch cutting and 4 1/2-inch to 5-inch surface grinding shrouds are designed for use with Milwaukee 4 1/2-inch to 5-inch, 4 1/2-inch to 6-inch and 4 1/2-inch to 7-inch AC/DC angle grinders manufactured in 2018 or later. The 6-inch tuckpointing shroud is designed for cutting applications with accessories up to 6 inches on the same range of grinders. The 7-inch/9-inch surface grinding shroud is designed for use with Milwaukee’s large-angle grinders.
