The Home Depot has launched Blueprint Takeoffs, an AI-powered tool that helps professional renovators, remodelers, and builders generate faster, more accurate material lists and estimates for single-family construction projects.

Creating takeoffs — a detailed list of materials needed for a build — can take weeks. The new tool leverages AI to produce a complete material list and quote within days, allowing professionals to purchase all required materials from The Home Depot in one place.

Mike Rowe, executive vice president of Pro for The Home Depot, said the tool allows pros to focus on craftsmanship and client satisfaction by reducing planning time. The retailer’s dedicated Pro team provides guidance, sourcing hard-to-find materials and assisting with project planning in-store, online or on job sites.

Blueprint Takeoffs is part of The Home Depot’s suite of tools for Pro customers, which also includes trade credit, order management with same-day or scheduled delivery, project planning resources, customizable account management and dedicated sales support.

The tool is available through Home Depot’s Pro Desk or by contacting an Outside Sales Representative.
