Russian engineer Nikita Chen-yun-tai has created a compact and mobile 3D printer known as the Apis Cor. The Apis Cor can be moved from place to place easily in the construction of buildings with ‘low to medium’ numbers of stories.

How 3D Printing is Affecting the Construction Industry

The printer is designed to print houses layer by layer in a 24-hour period using a commercial extruder that rotates in two planes. Plus, the printer can fabricate materials while on nearly any surface and can be transported with just a truck.
