Trimble has introduced ProjectSight 360 Capture, a new reality capture capability within its ProjectSight construction project management software, for customers in North America, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The AI-powered tool allows construction teams to capture 360-degree jobsite imagery using compatible cameras and automatically map images to project drawings. The result is a cloud-based visual record of project progress that can be shared across project teams.
According to Trimble, the solution connects captured imagery directly to project workflows, including RFIs, change orders and issue tracking, helping improve collaboration between field and office personnel.
Key features include AI-powered image mapping, automated face blurring for privacy, visual progress tracking and integration with the Trimble Connect common data environment. The platform also enables users to link site observations directly to project management and BIM workflows.
Trimble says the new capability is designed to provide contractors with better visibility into site conditions and support faster project decision-making.
