Developed to answer a growing need for powerful compact excavators, JCB’s new 10-metric ton conventional tailswing compact excavator, the 100C-1, features an H-design undercarriage, steel body panels, a spacious operator environment and a 74-hp Tier 4 Final engine. The 100C-1 has a maximum dig depth of 15’, a dump height of 18’6” and a reach at ground level of 24’4”. A patented, reduced-loss hydraulic system eliminates parasitic losses and puts less demand on the engine, reducing fuel consumption.
