KATO-CES has unveiled the all-new 17VXB. This 17-class extension of CES’s battery/electric line joins the popular 9VXB, already a force in the electrification market. This compact 3,915 lb. powerhouse comes in with a 7-ft. dig depth and 5,447 lbs. of breakout force. The 17VXB’s expandable tracks span between 39-in. and 50-in., and a 7.7 gpm auxiliary hydraulics system allows the optional addition of a variety of hydraulic attachments.
Like the 9VXB, the 17VXB’s eight-hour run time and optional fast charger allows a crew to operate an extended work day without interruption. Zero-emission operation provides exceptional value to contractors. Additionally, the zero-emissions and silent operation makes the 17VXB a popular option around schools, residences, and other jobsites in close proximity to the public. The time/material savings on emission-capped or sterile-environment jobsites makes CES’ line of battery equipment a valuable investment for any rental fleet.
