The upgraded 463-hp ZX670LC-6 and the 512-hp ZX870LC-6 are powered by fuel-efficient Isuzu Tier 4 Final engines that employ cooled exhaust gas recirculation, a diesel oxidation catalyst and selective catalytic reduction. An improved piston design allows particulate matter to be burned in cylinder, so there’s no need for a diesel particulate filter. Fuel and DEF consumption is equal to or reduced compared to the Tier 4 Interim models.
- Expansion tank in the cooling system enhances air pursing, provides make-up fluid when needed and improves overall cooling efficiency
- Maintenance simplified with features such as a battery disconnect switch, spin-on fuel filters, two additional water separators, engine and hydraulic oil sample ports and an improved step position on the upper structure track frame and walkways
- Features include generous swing torque, digging force and lift capacity, spacious cabs, standard upper structure handrails and easy-to-operate controls for smooth and responsive hydraulics
- Come standard equipped with five years of ZXLink monitoring system
