ARTBA P3 Conference to Provide Analysis of MAP-21 Financing Provisions and Regional Market Reports

Nearly 20 speakers will provide presentations on industry-related topics to the more than 200 attendees expected to attend the October event

More than 200 private sector professionals, top state transportation department officials and other industry experts are coming together to discuss recent changes to federal policies impacting public-private partnerships (P3s) in the transportation construction market during the American Road and Transportation Builders Association’s (ARTBA) 24th Annual Public-Private Partnerships in Transportation Conference, scheduled October 10-12 in Washington, D.C.

The event is the nation’s leading summit on innovative transportation finance. Nearly 20 speakers will provide presentations on topics such as the historic changes to the Transportation Infrastructure Finance & Innovation Act (TIFIA) program under the new surface transportation law – MAP-21, the future of managed lanes, the introduction of innovative technologies into the marketplace, improving P3 procurement, and regional P3 market updates.

Two of the keynote speakers include: Phil Wilson, executive director of the Texas Department of Transportation; and Chris Bertram, U.S. DOT assistant secretary for budget and programs.

Registration is $950 for ARTBA members. A special discounted rate of $150 is available for public agency officials.
