Aquafin, Inc., located in Elkton, Md., announced that they have signed an exclusive license agreement to distribute, market, and manufacture Pavement concrete and asphalt repair products. This strategic partnership will build upon Aquafin’s expertise with products that repair, protect, waterproof and vaporproof concrete, masonry, brick, and stone substrates.
Elena Kessi, President of Aquafin, said, “We are very excited by this major new phase in our growth. The Pavemend product line offers tremendous synergies for our business. These products will give our customers an even broader selection of top-quality products for repairing concrete and asphalt.”
Steve Bradway, Aquafin’s National Sales Manager commented, “Pavemend scores a hat trick on the three things that matter most in roadway repair: durability, ease of use, and minimum downtime. That’s why Pavemend has been embraced by state Departments of Transportation, the US Military, and the GSA (General Services Administration). It is the only product line that offers tremendous durability along with very rapid curing and an environmentally sustainable formula.” He went on to say, “All of Pavemend’s products use water instead of chemical bonding agents, so they are easy for crews to work with. Most importantly, they cure within four hours. That means that high-traffic areas are back in service faster and road crews spend significantly less time exposed to traffic.”
Key sales staff from Pavemend plus one of the company’s technical experts have made the move to Aquafin, helping to insure that current Pavemend customers will experience a smooth transition.
Pavemend was originally developed by CeraTech, a Delaware company that pioneered and commercialized the world's first environmentally friendly green concrete system. Aquafin will manufacture and market Pavement brand products beginning immediately.
