Equipment Safety Systems (EQSS) has launched UpWatch, a universal secondary guarding system for low-level access and push-around vertical (PAV) platforms.
Unveiled at Vertikal Days 2026 in the U.K., UpWatch uses LiDAR technology to monitor an operator's position and intervene when a potential crush or entrapment hazard is detected.
The system is designed for use across low-level access equipment from multiple manufacturers, allowing contractors and rental companies to apply secondary guarding across mixed fleets.
