Doosan Bobcat Inc. has introduced several prototype technologies aimed at improving equipment operation, service efficiency and jobsite awareness.
The concepts were presented at CES 2026 and focus on artificial intelligence, electrification and autonomous operation for compact construction equipment.
One of the technologies, Bobcat Jobsite Companion, is an AI-enabled system designed to assist operators with machine tasks through voice commands and onboard automation. The system operates directly on the machine without relying on cloud connectivity.
Bobcat also unveiled Service.AI, a service-support platform intended to help technicians access repair information and diagnostics more quickly, as well as a Collision Warning and Avoidance System that can alert operators or slow equipment when hazards are detected.

Additional concepts include Advanced Display Technology, which overlays machine data onto a transparent cab display, and RogueX3, a fully electric, autonomous and modular equipment concept. The company also introduced the Bobcat Standard Unit Pack, a modular battery system designed for electric equipment platforms.
All technologies shown are prototypes and are not yet commercially available.
