Infotech has launched Bid Intelligence, a new suite of AI-based tools designed to support contractors during the early stages of bidding on civil construction projects.
Available on Infotech’s state and local bidding platforms, Bid Intelligence includes three features aimed at improving bid discovery and evaluation. The Recommender tool analyzes a contractor’s prior bidding activity to identify projects aligned with preferred work types and locations. Tagger automatically reviews and labels bid documents by work intent and asset type, allowing users to filter large lettings more efficiently. Summarizer scans project documents and produces brief overviews to provide faster context for potential bids.
The release coincides with broader adoption of artificial intelligence across the construction industry. According to the 2025 NBS Digital Construction Report, AI use among construction professionals increased from less than 10% in 2020 to more than 40% in 2025.
