Fluor Brings IBM Watson to the Construction Jobsite

Partnership will put the supercomputer’s computational skills to work on making building more efficient

A partnership between Fluor and IBM is bringing the supercomputer's computational skills to the construction jobsite. Fluor plans to use Watson to analyze jobsites "like a doctor diagnoses a patient".

Fluor will use two new tools, EPC Project Health Diagnostics and Market Dynamics/Spend Analytics to make sense of thousands of data points from the construction site. Constant anaylsis will help predict issues before they arise as well as automate how materials and workers are distributed.
