AI Tool Aims to Speed CPM Scheduling Analysis for Construction Teams

Planera has introduced “Manny,” an AI scheduling assistant designed to streamline analysis of critical path method (CPM) schedules.

The tool, built into the company’s platform, allows users to query schedule data using natural language, helping teams quickly identify critical path drivers, assess delay impacts and run “what-if” scenarios.

Schedule analysis in construction is often manual and limited to specialists. Manny is intended to expand access to insights for project managers, superintendents and other stakeholders while supporting faster, more informed decisions.

The release reflects broader efforts to modernize scheduling workflows with AI and improve visibility into project risks and timelines.
