The American Concrete Institute (ACI) will offer four ACI inspector certification program exams at the upcoming ACI Concrete Convention March 29–April 2, 2020, in Rosemont, Ill.  Exams offered include:

Certification exams will be offered at the Convention on Wednesday, April 1, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registered convention attendees can receive special exam pricing of $299. A continental breakfast will be provided for all examinees.

“As the demand for ACI-certified inspectors continues to grow, the institute will provide increased exam offerings for these inspector certification programs at the ACI Concrete Convention,” said Michael Morrison, manager, Certification Program Development, American Concrete Institute.  “By bringing these certification offerings to the convention, it creates additional and convenient availability for individuals already traveling to the convention to earn an ACI inspector certification."

To properly prepare for the exams, ACI recommends individuals purchase the specific reference materials for the program they are interested in well in advance of the session. Individuals are responsible for purchasing all reference materials as these costs are not included in the exam price.

Each program requires passing a two-section exam:  the CQTM exam is six hours in length, the CCSI and CTCI exams allow four hours for completion, and the PICAII exam has a total of two hours allowed to complete the exam.  All four of these programs have prerequisites; please refer to the links above for detailed program descriptions.

Register for these inspector exams through convention registration. Additional information will be shared with examinees upon receipt of their registration.
