The phrase “go big or go home” is synonymous with Las Vegas, so when CSDA arrives in town for the 42nd World of Concrete the association is planning to go big!

Having only added its first training offering at World of Concrete (WOC) 2010, CSDA now has an impressive four training courses scheduled for WOC 2016. The association graduated 52 students at the 2015 show and is confident of surpassing this number between February 1st and 5th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The class schedule is as follows:

Dates/Course Title
Feb. 1-2, 2016 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Estimating
Feb. 2, 2016 (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) — CSDA-ST-115 Certification
Feb. 3-4, 2016 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Concrete Polishing 101
Feb. 3-4, 2016 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Diamond Cutting: Sharpen Your Skills

Elsewhere, the association will celebrate contractors who “went big” and completed uniquely-challenging projects during the third annual Concrete Openings Awards. A prestigious ceremony for these industry awards is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3. Entries have been placed into four categories—Building Construction, Industrial Renovation, Infrastructure Renovation and Roads, Bridges & Airports—and a panel of judges will score each one based on set criteria.

Another popular association event, the CSDA Next Generation Networking Reception, returns to the WOC schedule for 2016. For the second year, this event will be held at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel in the Five Spot Room. The reception drew a large crowd in 2015 and gave up-and-coming industry leaders the chance to network with peers in a relaxed, informal environment. Those who wish to learn more about the association or network with future industry leaders should plan to attend.

CSDA will also hold a Board meeting on the morning of Wednesday, February 3 to review the 2015 accomplishments and WOC attendees—members or non-members of CSDA—are welcome. All are encouraged to sit in and find out what important work the association is doing for the industry.

Be sure to pay CSDA a visit at booth #C4433 in the Central Hall during WOC 2016 and use the association’s unique Source Code, A26, for the best exhibits-only registration deal (some restrictions may apply). Go big, or go home.
